The Bombard is a type of cannon that was used during the Middle Ages and early modern period. Leonardo da Vinci’s Bombard was designed with an exploding hollow projectile that contained many more small projectiles that would rain down on the enemy.

Powered by elastics, this DIY model has hollow projectiles that can be opened, great for scientific testing of how weight, and trajectory angles, affects distance when launched.
